Toner

If you have oilr or acne prone skin, toner can balance your skin and prevent excess oil production. An alcohol-free toner is the best as alcohol can strip moisture from your skin. Apply toner using a cotton pad and gently wipe onto your face and neck

Moisturiser

Apply a light moisturiser to help maintain skin hydration throughout the day.

Sunscreen

Your last step before you step outside, is to apply sunscreen. This is essential to prevent damage from harmful UV rays which can lead to premature aging. Things like fine line, wrinkle, freckles and skin damage can be prevented. There are two types. Chemical sunscreen or mineral sunscreen. Choose one that is suitable for your skin type. Both work well to protect your skin from sun damage.

  1. Chemical sunscreen uses chemical compounds which sit on the skin and absorb UV rays. This type is suitable for most skin types.
  2. Mineral sunscreen reflects UV rays. However due to the use of fine mineral particles, it may not be suitable for those with acne prone skin.

Drink water

Drink a glass of warm lemon water. Warm water mixed with lemon has vitamin C helping the skin looking radiant and kickstarting your metabolism for the day.

Face massage

Massage your face everyday for 2 minutes using small circular motions. This helps to increase blood circulation giving your skin a healthy and radiant glow. You can also use ice cubes wrapped in cloth to reduce puffiness.
