Babies are born with soft and silky-smooth skin. Unfortunately, they can have rashes within days or months of birth. It’s normal for babies to develop rashes from as early as a few days old, as their sensitive skin adapts to a different environment. These rashes are common albeit hideous. Thankfully, it doesn\u2019t cause any pain or discomfort to your baby.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most rashes are <\/span>harmless<\/i><\/b> and <\/span>go away<\/i><\/b> on their own.<\/span><\/p>\n

The most common rash that babies get is the milk rash. Milk rash is also known as milk spot or ‘milia’. Milk rashes are identified as a reddish rash that might appear on the baby’s skin including eyes, cheeks, nose and forehead, which is a commonly seen reaction in newborns and infants. For older babies, it could be characterized as white pimple-like growths that may appear on the face or shoulders. <\/span>These tend to get worse before clearing up completely after a few weeks or months.<\/span><\/p>\n
