It is clear that water plays a role in the firmness of the soap made. We placed our soaps covered with “parafilm” this prevents moisture from seeping in. The soaps were softer and less brittle when compared to the soaps left just sitting in the fridge.<\/p>\n
We tested a small portion of soap around 5g mixed in water and measured the pH with an average range of about 9.5 – 10 pH. This is probably an area we can work on further before adding in the exfoliants and antioxidant actives.<\/p>\n
