Because it is called as milk rash, many people think it is a skin disorder caused by breastfeeding. In fact, milk rash is not caused by breastfeeding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Milk rash is commonly experienced by infants with parents who have a (i). <\/span><b>history of<\/b> <b>allergies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0The rash can occur in breast-fed babies after their mothers consume (ii). <\/span><b>food allergens<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> such as eggs or chicken. \u00a0This can be different for each person. In addition, milk rash can also be triggered by (iii). <\/span><b>air pollution<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, heat, dust mites or tiny germs in the air or objects in the home such as pillows and blankets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Milk rash is a condition when keratin trapped beneath the skin surface. Milk rash appear if (iv). milk had <\/span><b>dried up<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on your baby&#8217;s face and was <\/span><b>not wiped<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> clean. It can also happen if the skin of the baby is always wet with (v).<\/span><b> saliva<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or comes in close contact with some harsh fabrics or chemicals like perfumes or colognes. Another cause of milk rash is a (vi). <\/span><b>change <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the <\/span><b>diet <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the baby. Infants and small children have a digestive tract and immune system that is not yet mature, and they are not yet ready for a quick introduction to a new food. (vii). <\/span><b>Cow\u2019s milk<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can also be another cause of milk rash.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Milk rash can by itchy. Because of its location on the cheeks, milk rash is easily scratched by your baby&#8217;s hand. \u00a0This could trigger a rash that blisters on the skin and cause open sores. \u00a0These sores can let in bacteria and cause further infections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/static01.nyt.com\/images\/2013\/02\/22\/booming\/22question-booming-acne\/22question-booming-acne-jumbo.jpg?resize=400%2C266&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Related image\" width=\"400\" height=\"266\" title=\"\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Milk rash or Atopic Dermatitis is shown in the form of red spots on your baby&#8217;s cheeks.
